Consider the “Big Picture”

When we pursue a company as a new client, we know that the most valuable asset we offer is our people. They are even more important than our service offerings and industry expertise.  We seek well-rounded individuals with strong educational technical backgrounds - team players who are interested in tackling complex business issues while building successful careers.

Our client-service professionals represent a variety of backgrounds.  While many began their careers at MMB, others spent time at national accounting firms or were recruited from other regional and local firms.  Our goal is to hire individuals who want to invest their careers at MMB. Below are just a few ways that we think we are different. If you think you’d be a good fit for our firm, contact us at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. The Work-Life Balance

Our motto is that our most valuable assets walk out the door at the end of each day. Therefore, it is important to us to help employees strike a balance between work and life by creating a personal and friendly work environment where hard work is rewarded and fun is encouraged.

You can expect to know our partners on a personal level, and you will rarely see a closed door around the office. We offer flexible hours during the summer and a shortened work day outside of busy season. During busy season, we have catered lunches every Saturday, and take the time to celebrate both March and April 15th deadlines. Both our Rochester and Elmira offices offer a variety of social events, including a joint "End of Busy Season Party" and a summertime picnic.  We actively pursue opportunities for employees to enjoy events outside of work, such as our wine tasting tours in the Finger Lakes, sports outings, after work socials and holiday parties.

Giving back to the community

Over our 30-year history, we have made an investment in the communities where we live and work.  Giving back to the community is a cornerstone of our philosophy.   You will find the members of our firm spearheading United Way fund drives; serving on boards of corporations, not-for-profits, and arts organizations; and donating time to professional organizations.  We take our community service responsibility seriously and encourage all members of our firm to work to improve the quality of life for all.
