Who We Are: Community Involvement
Giving back to the community that made MMB successful is one of the cornerstones of our philosophy.

That’s why you will find the members of our firm serving on boards of corporations, not-for-profits, and arts organizations; working with disabled persons; coaching youth sports; donating time to professional organizations; and performing many other community service activities.

MMB also holds an annual “Day of Caring” which benefits a few of our not-for-profit clients each year. We close the office for a whole day and do various volunteer work in the Rochester community. From painting to sorting goods to weeding gardens, MMB gets there hands dirty to help non-profits and get a better idea of what our clients do on a day-to-day basis.

Corporate Challenge

For ten years, MMB took time out of our vigorous early April schedule to host the “At Your Service Luncheon”.  The proceeds from this event benefited the Heart of Gold Foundation, an organization focused on assisting local families in need.  MMB has also held a "Step It Up" stair Climb in the past to support various not-for-profits. The firm encourages other local companies, schools, charitable organizations and individuals to get involved in raising money for the selected local beneficiary.  Recent recipients include the Humane Society of Rochester and Monroe County and the Veterans Outreach Center.

In addition to these annual events, MMB is proud to support the local Meals On Wheels Chapter.  Teams of two people depart from our offices each Tuesday with a mission to deliver hot meals to individuals participating in the Meals on Wheels program.  Not only is this a great way for MMB to give back, but it has also proven to be a fantastic team building opportunity for members of the MMB team.

At the end of the day, we are members of communities, both professional and personal, large and small.  In all cases, we take our responsibility seriously and continue to work to improve the quality of life for all.
